Installations
S&S Music
This installation was by far our biggest job.  It included
audio, lighting, and video projection. We were
challenged with the fact that the contractors did
NOTHING that we requested.  There was no hanging
points left, no conduit runs, and they even refused to
run electricity to the dimmers!  After several months
of work the building was finally finished.  The main
sound system is comprised of ElectroVoice speakers
and amps, a Midas Venice console, A.R.T. eqs,
Sennheiser wireless mics, and Furman power
sequecing.  The lighting includes Behringer UP100 par
fixtures, Applied Electronics mini dimmer packs,
PennFab truss, and Elation intelligent moving fixtures
and controller software.  We installed Yorkville 70v
ceiling speakers in all the hallways, powered by their
CA1 amplifier.  We put ElectroVoice EVID4.2 speakers
in the game room and cafe.  They are powered by the
Yorkville CA1.  A Production Intercom links the stage
to the control room.  Each zone is capable of having its
own source for sound and video or it can be fed what
is going through the main system.  We wanted even
coverage and total flexability.  This is our 4th system
to install in this church.  We are in meetings to start
on a new line array system for their main sanctuary.
Gurdon Installation

Beech Street Baptist Church came to us looking to
upgrade their sound system.  Their main speakers
were hung in the center of the room and weren't doing
the job, plus their mixer was about 20 years old.  We
brought in a brand new Telex brand system consisting
of ElectroVoice speakers, Midas front of house
console, and Klark Teknik EQs.  Additionally an Alesis
ML9600 Master Link CD recorder was installed to
record their services.  The ElectroVoice RE-2
headworn mic was a nice replacement to the older
lapel style microphone.  Two additional RE2-410
handheld microphones were installed as well.  This job
was particularly challenging because we were
working with an existing building.  We spent hours
spelunking through the attics pulling wires from the
control room to the main speaker hang and the choir
monitors.
